Adding UTM codes to URL's
We want to use UTM codes so we can:
- Accurately measure the performance of each campaign and channel.
- Understand which activities drive traffic, leads, and conversions.
- Make data-driven decisions and optimize marketing efforts instead of guessing.
What you need to do
Please ensure that all campaign links shared externally include UTM parameters. This typically includes at least:
- utm_source – where the traffic is coming from (e.g. linkedin). NFC / TAPPIN
- utm_medium – the marketing medium (e.g. social, email). Instagram
- utm_campaign – the campaign name or identifier. Macclesfield 4th round FA Cup
Example:
https://mystickers.store/landingpage?utm_source=linkedin&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=match1_2026
What you need to do
Please ensure that all campaign links shared externally include UTM parameters. You don't need to worry about the specific naming conventions we use, as long as the UTM codes are present — e.g. utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign.
